Extensions of Authorisation for Minor Use (EAMU) Summary

There are a limited number of situations in which a pesticide (and this may be an insecticide, fungicide, plant growth regulator or herbicide) may be used outside the terms of its approved label. Copies of individual EAMU documents are available from the Chemicals Regulation Directorate website.

Before the use of any pesticide under an Extension of Authorisation for Minor Use (EAMU) users must have a copy of the documents available at www.pesticides.gov.uk. These documents are frequently revised and therefore it is important to check that documentation is current before any use. All responsibility for any 'off-label' or EAMU use of a pesticide remains with the user at all times.
