Join us at 15:30 in the Innovation & Tech theatre for our talk on Integrating Biopesticides into a soft fruit IPM programme by David Hide, Fargro IPM Specialist
The presentation will look at a range of biopesticides and how best to integrate them alongside microbiological controls and targeted use of conventional plant protection products. The impact of real time monitoring and crop walking will also be explored.
About David Hide
David has spent a life time in horticulture having first trained at Hadlow college in the 1980s. Much of his career was spent in production horticulture but since the early 2000s his career took a fresh path and he has since retrained as an agronomist. In 2013 he joined Fargro’s technical team as an IPM specialist and now advises growers on the use of plant protection products with a particular focus on the use of biopesticides and biological controls.
