This is a range of professional products, distributed in the UK, for use by those trained (and if needed qualified) to use them in professional horticulture. Directions for use, safety precautions, hazard classifications and risk and safety phrases are included on the linked documents, where available, which are in acrobat (PDF) format. Borneo	An acaricide with contact and translaminar activity for the control of red spider mite (Tetranychus urticae) in protected tomatoes and aubergines. Effective on eggs, nymphs and larvae. Chess WG	For control of aphids (Aphis gossypii) in cucumbers and ornamental plants. Prevents aphids from feeding, causing death through starvation within 1 - 4 days. Activity observed on a range of other insects. Excellent crop safety. Safe to most beneficial insects. Click here for details of Specific Off Label Approvals for this product. Chess WG is a water dispersible granule containing 50% pymetrozine.
Conserve	For the control of western flower thrip (WFT), Frankiniella occidentalis in protected ornamental plant production and protected crops of cucumber, tomato, pepper and aubergine. Conserve contains an active ingredient derived from the biological fermentation of a naturally occuring soil bacteria Saccharopolyspora spinosa. Conserve can be used as part of an integrated pest management programme. Click here for additional technical notes. Conserve is a suspension concentrate containing 120 g/l (11.6% w/w) spinosad.
DiPel DF	A biological insecticide for the control of caterpillars (Lepidopterous larvae) in vegetables, soft fruit, ornamentals and amenity vegetation. Ideal for use in Integrated Pest Management programmes. Click here for details of Specific Off Label Approvals for this product. Based on a naturally occuring micro-organism DiPel DF contains Bacillus thuringiensis var kurstaki with a potency of 32,000 IU/mg formulated as a water dispersible granule.
Dynamec	For the control of two-spotted spider mite and western flower thrips in protected and outdoor flower crops and other ornamentals; two-spotted spider mite and leafminer (Liriomyza bryioniae) in protected tomatoes and two-spotted spider mite and western flower thrips in protected cucumbers. The active ingredient is a naturally derived product of the soil actinomycete Streptomyces avermitilis. Click here for details of Specific Off Label Approvals for this product. Dynamec is a emulsifiable concentrate containing 18g/l abamectin.
Forester	A contact insecticide for application post planting for the reduction of damage by Large Pine Weevil (Hylobius abietis) in forestry and for the control of bark beetles on felled logs. Imidasect 5GR	A systemic insecticide for incorporation into peat-based composts used in the production of protected container-grown ornamental plants and protected container-grown hardy nursery stock, for the control of aphid, whitefly, sciarid flies and vine weevil. Click here for additional leaflet 173kb (PDF format). Imidasect 5GR is a granular insecticide containing 50g/kg imidacloprid.
Naturalis-L	A bio-insecticide for the control of whitefly including the glasshouse whitefly Trialeurodes vaporariorum in all edible crops (protected) and ornamental plant production (protected). Will also provide a reduction in thrips including western flower thrips Frankliniella occidentalis. Trials have also shown good control of spider mites Tetranychus urticae, T.cinnabarinus and tomato russet mite Aculops lycopersicae. Activity is reported on a range of other pest species and compatibility with a range of beneficial organisms. Naturalis-L contains spores of a specific strain of a naturally occuring soil born fungus which germinates on and infects target species. Naturalis-L is an oil dispersion formulation containing 7.16%w/w Beauveria bassiana ATCC 74040.
Nemolt	For the control of a range of caterpillar pests and whitefly in ornamental plant production. Nemolt is an insect growth regulator which inhibits chitin development, resulting in death during the moulting process of the larvae. Nemolt is harmless to most beneficial insects. SB Plant Invigorator	For the control of a wide range of important pest species including whitefly, aphid, spider mite and mealybug. Also controls powdery mildew and is a plant stimulant. For use on edible and ornamental crops. SB Plant Invigorator works by physical means and is exempt from registration under the UK pesticides regulations. SB Plant Invigorator contains Foliar Lattice, Linear Sulphanate, 0.37% w/w iron chelate (Fe), 9.57% w/w nitrogen (N) and natural products (rates quoted refer to the professional product).
suSCon Green	A controlled release granular insecticide to be incorporated into container growing media for the control of the larvae of Vine Weevil (Otiorhynchus sulcatus), in ornamental nursery stock production. A single application will be sufficient for the control of successive generations of larvae for the growing cycle of plants kept in the same containers for two years, with partial control in the third year.
